- Curriculum and Assessment Tools
Teaching and tracking tools are an important part of the Parent Aware rating. Certain curriculum and assessment tools are aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and are approved for use. Learn more about curriculum and assessment.
If you use your own curriculum or a bundle of curricula that you believe will be found to be aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress for children 3 to 5, you will need to:
1. Describe how your curriculum or curricula bundle aligns with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress using the appropriate form during the rating process and
2. Require that all your lead teachers or lead providers complete at least eight hours of training on implementing curriculum that the MNCPD Registry has verified.
